13,14-Dihydroxy-4(Z),7(Z),10(Z),16(Z),19(Z)-docosapentaenoic acid (DHDP) is a potent inhibitor of cancer cell growth and has been shown to induce apoptosis in tumor cells. DHDP is a kinase inhibitor that targets cyclin-dependent kinases and other protein kinases involved in cancer cell proliferation.
