Descrição:3-Cyclopropylpyrazole-4-carboxylic acid is a white to pale yellow solid that can be synthesized from ammonium formate. 3-Cyclopropylpyrazole-4-carboxylic acid has been shown to copolymerize with acrylic acid and other monomers to produce polymers with desirable properties, such as high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) elution times and enhanced chemiluminescence reactions. 3-Cyclopropylpyrazole-4-carboxylic acid also has a high affinity for chloride ions, which enables it to be used in the purification of liquid chromatography columns by elution. The compound may enhance neurotransmitter activity and inhibit the production of trimethylamine in the gut, suggesting that it may have therapeutic potential for neurological disorders.
