Informação sobre produto
2-Phenyl-2H-benzotriazol-5-ylamine (2PBT) is an experimental compound that has been synthesized as a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of cancer. It is a cationic nitro compound that undergoes oxidative cyclization to form polymers with reactive amines. The nitro group in 2PBT can be reduced to an amine and oxidized back to the parent molecule by the reaction with triazoles. This cyclization process leads to the formation of a tetraacetate intermediate, which can then be hydrolyzed into 2PBT or lead to the production of other compounds. 2PBT is also used as a synthetic intermediate for other organic molecules, such as pharmaceuticals or pesticides.
