Informação sobre produto
NPD8733 is a molecule that binds to the active site of an enzyme in cancer cells, thereby inhibiting the production of proteins vital for cell division. NPD8733 has been shown to inhibit cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, as well as to decrease the number of metastases. It inhibits protein synthesis by binding to the active site of an enzyme called adenylate kinase. The immobilization technique used with this molecule is quite simple and can be performed using a variety of materials such as activated carbon, gold nanoparticles, or magnetic beads. This molecule was immobilized on a matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometer (MALDI-TOF) for use in biochemical analysis of cell lysates.
