Informação sobre produto
Swertiaside is an iridoid glucoside that has been found to have a variety of biological effects. Swertiaside can inhibit the activity of topoisomerase I, II, and IV enzymes, which are important in maintaining the integrity of DNA. It has been shown to have a protective effect on the heart by inhibiting platelet aggregation and vasoconstriction. Swertiaside also inhibits viral replication by interrupting dna replication and inhibiting the enzyme-dependent reactions that are required for virus replication. In addition, swertiaside can inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro. Swertiaside may also be able to treat intestinal disorders by inhibiting preincubated ileal contractions in rats.
