Informação sobre produto
N-(2-acetylphenyl)decanamide is a lactone compound that has been evaluated for its interactions with the human alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (α7 nAChR). It is a potential drug candidate for modulating α7 nAChRs because of its structural activity and interactions with α7 nAChRs. Docking studies have shown that N-(2-acetylphenyl)decanamide interacts with residues important for ligand binding to the α7 nAChR, such as Val361, Ile362, Glu371, Lys373, Tyr374, and Arg375. Experiments have validated the structure activity of N-(2-acetylphenyl)decanamide by showing that it can inhibit binding of nicotine to the α7 nAChR in rat brain tissue.
