SHIN 1New is a novel drug that has been shown to inhibit the growth of human bladder cancer cells and bacterial organisms. SHIN 1New has also been shown to have a synergistic effect with other antibiotics, such as erythromycin and ampicillin, when tested in vitro. SHIN 1New has been found to be effective against influenza virus strains A/PR/8/34 (H1N1) and B/Hong Kong/68 (H3N2), as well as the influenza B strain X-31.
SHIN 1New inhibits the replication of influenza virus by binding to the viral ribonucleoprotein and blocking the synthesis of viral proteins. It has also been shown to inhibit bronchiolitis obliterans in animal models, which may be due to its ability to inhibit inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNF-α.
