Pomalidomide 4'-PEG3-azide is a ligand that binds to the receptor and activates it. It is a small molecule that has been shown to inhibit ion channels in the central nervous system, which may be useful for the treatment of epilepsy and other neurological disorders. Pomalidomide 4'-PEG3-azide also inhibits protein synthesis by binding to an antibody which is specific for a peptide in the nucleus of cells. This inhibition prevents signal transduction and cellular proliferation.
