Informação sobre produto
N-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenethyl)methacrylamide is an antimicrobial agent that belongs to the class of broad-spectrum antimicrobials. It inhibits the growth of bacteria through hydrolysis and oxidation reactions, which are catalyzed by a number of different enzymes in the bacterial cell. The enzyme catalysis is due to hydrogen bonding interactions with the biochemical composition of N-(3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl)methacrylamide. N-(3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl)methacrylamide has been shown to have a high redox potential and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) response in the presence of dopamine, suggesting that it may be an effective agent for treating Parkinson’s disease.
