Informação sobre produto
4-Methylpiperidine-2-carboxylic acid is a synthetic biomolecule with a chemical structure of C8H14N2O4. It is an acidic compound that reacts with hydrogen peroxide to form hydroxylamine, which results in the formation of peroxide and trifluoride. This molecule has been shown to inhibit thrombin by binding to its active site. 4-Methylpiperidine-2-carboxylic acid has also been shown to inhibit the enzyme alkylating agent (trifluoride) and reduce hydrogen peroxide. The stereoselective synthesis of this molecule can be achieved through the use of boron trifluoride etherate or hydrogenation reduction.
