Descrição:
AVN-944 is a nucleotide analog that inhibits the synthesis of ATP in cells by interfering with DNA replication. AVN-944 has been shown to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells and myeloid leukemia cells, as well as suppressor genes in endothelial cells. The drug also has antiangiogenic properties by inhibiting endothelial cell proliferation. In addition, AVN-944 has been shown to have therapeutic potential for autoimmune diseases and cancer, including metastatic pancreatic cancer.
