Descrição

Neodulin is a water-soluble, non-toxic, and low molecular weight compound that inhibits the activity of protein α. Neodulin has been shown to inhibit the activation of T84 cells in vitro by blocking the release of chloride ions. This inhibition may be due to its ability to prevent the demethylation of DNA in tumour cell lines. The major active component of neodulin is thought to be astragalus root extract, which contains the α subunit. Astragalus root extract has been shown to have anti-tumour effects in animal models and clinical trials.
