1,3-Bis(4-fluorophenyl)-2,3-dibromopropan-1-one is a solvent molecule that belongs to the class of chalcones. It has a hydrogen bond with the benzene ring and with the pyrazole ring. Hydrogen bonds are also present between 1,3-bis(4-fluorophenyl)-2,3-dibromopropan-1-one and other molecules such as hydrogen bond donor pyrazole and oxadiazine. This solvent molecule can form crystals in which two molecules are linked via a dihedral angle of 180°. Substituents on the phenyl group include hydrazines and a hydroxyl group.
