It effectively inhibits the oxidative subtype of XOR, thereby reducing the generation of the byproduct ROS and exhibiting antioxidant activity. CC15009 has shown a favorable dose-dependent uric acid-lowering effect in two different XOR substrate-induced hyperuricemia mouse models.
