
Radicaux Libres et Agents Oxydants/Réducteurs
Les radicaux libres sont des molécules possédant des électrons non appariés qui peuvent endommager les structures cellulaires, affectant ainsi la stabilité des ingrédients pharmaceutiques actifs (API). Ces radicaux sont importants dans la formulation des API, car leur présence peut influencer la stabilité et l’efficacité du médicament. Les agents oxydants sont des substances qui facilitent la perte d’électrons, ce qui peut être utile dans la fabrication de certains API, mais qui peuvent également provoquer des réactions indésirables si elles ne sont pas correctement contrôlées. Les agents réducteurs, en revanche, peuvent stabiliser certains composés actifs en empêchant leur oxydation.
