Sulfoxaflor è un insetticida sistemico appartenente alla classe delle sulfoximine, utilizzato principalmente per il controllo di parassiti succhiatori di linfa come afidi e mosche bianche in varie colture. La sua struttura chimica presenta un gruppo funzionale di sulfoximina, che contribuisce al suo modo d'azione unico come agonista selettivo dei recettori nicotinici dell'acetilcolina negli insetti.
