18Alpha-Glycyrrhizic acid is a natural compound that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It can be found in Chinese licorice root and has been studied for its ability to induce apoptosis (cell death) in cancer cells. This compound has also been shown to inhibit the activity of certain kinases, which are enzymes involved in regulating cell growth and division. In combination with other drugs such as artesunate or linezolid, 18Alpha-Glycyrrhizic acid has demonstrated potent antitumor activity against various types of cancer cells. This analog is excreted through urine and may serve as a potential therapeutic agent for cancer treatment.
