Descrizione

1,3,6-Tri-O-galloylglucose is an extract of the fruit of Terminalia catappa and Terminalia citrina. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against a variety of bacteria and fungi. The antimicrobial activity may be due to its ability to chelate metal ions or inhibit their activities. Punicalagin also has tannin content, which may contribute to its antimicrobial properties.
