Ac-PGP generated by N-terminal acetylation of PGP can enhance this chemotactic potential. PGP was identified as physiological substrate for the aminopeptidase activity of leukotriene A4 hydrolase. PGP is a biomarker for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
