Product Information
Amberlite™ IRN-77 is used in the primary water treatment for the removal of fission products, activated corrosion products and suspended matter. It is also used to control the pH of the reactor coolant stream by removing the excess lithium. Further, it is used in the removal of radioactive cations such as Cesium from waste streams. In addition to this, it is used as a cation exchanger to determine the sorption activity towards cesium(I) and strontium(II) using isothermal titration calorimetry and solution-depletion method. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
