Removal of color, organics, and cyanideAmberlite™ IRA-958(Cl), ion exchange resin is used as an organic scavenger for the adsorption of natural organic matter from surface water. It is an acrylic resin for decolorization and the removal of organic material. Further, it is useful for decolorizing sugar juices and cane syrups, citric acid purification and capturing metal complexes. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
