Used in nuclear marine propulsion systems, used for decarboxylation of oxaloacetic acid, convertion of orto- to para-hydrogen and polymerization of ethylene. It is also used for making gadolinium yttrium, fabrication, color TV tubes, compact discs and computer memory.
