Dowex™ 50WX4 200-400 (H) is used to investigate the effect of particle size on drug loading and release profiles. Dowex™ 50WX4 hydrogen form when treated in boiling water converted D,L-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate diethyl acetal (barium salt) to free aldehyde D,L-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. It is a useful column packing material, used in anion exchange chromatography. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
