Description:
This Reagecon Density Standard Premium Range 0.6917 g/mL at 50C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D1480-12 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by Bingham Pycnometry and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by pycnometer, vibrational, or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques.
- Reagecon holds ISO 17025 Accreditation for testing density standards using Bingham Pycnometers (INAB Ref: 264T). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights. Reagecon holds ISO 17025 Accreditation for calibration of laboratory balances (INAB Ref: 265C). The resulting Balance Certificate of Calibration is issued in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. The density of the product is established and certified using high performance calibrated reference pycnometers.
