Description

Dichlorisone acetate is a pharmaceutical preparation that is used as a local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory agent. Dichlorisone acetate is applied topically to the skin and mucous membranes, or injected into tissue for surgical use. It is also used to reduce swelling in various inflammatory diseases. Dichlorisone acetate has been shown to be effective against cancer cells, with the most significant effect on tumor cells in blood vessels or tissues. The mechanism of action of dichlorisone acetate involves reducing the amount of chloride ions in the extracellular matrix, which decreases cell proliferation and increases cell death (apoptosis).
