N-Ethyl-N-benzylaniline is a detergent that is used in the production of soap. It has been shown to be effective in reducing human serum albumin and fatty acids, which are thought to be important factors in cancer and inflammatory diseases. The detergent also inhibits toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) activation, which may be involved in the development of infectious diseases.
