Description

Barban is a heterocyclic compound that is used as a chemical intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals. It can be synthesized by reacting an aryl halide with a hydroxyl group and glycol ester. The stability of barban has been shown in a number of different conditions, including reaction with copper complex and phosphite or light exposure. Barban is also used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds, such as the Suzuki coupling reaction and ester hydrochloride.
