Description:
p-Tolyl Isobutyrate is an analog of the aromatic heterocyclic compound isobutyraldehyde. It has been shown to have deodorizing properties and is used in perfumes and as a flavorant. p-Tolyl Isobutyrate has also been shown to have antioxidant and analgesic effects, which may be due to its reactivity with free radicals and reactive oxygen species. The reported endpoints for this compound are aldehydes, alcohols, and coniferous oils.
