Description

4,4'-Dibenzoylquinone Dioxime is a diphenyl ether with a hydroxy group in the ortho position. It has been used as a cross-linking agent for the production of high-viscosity sealants and analytical methods for the determination of particle size distribution. 4,4'-Dibenzoylquinone Dioxime reacts with calcium carbonate to form crosslinks, which are resistant to solvents such as water or alcohols. It is also used in the manufacture of hydrogenated polymers and dioximes. The compound is an aromatic hydrocarbon that contains a hydroxyl group on its aromatic ring.
