Description

7-Benzamido-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid is a polymer film that absorbs light with a wavelength of 400 to 500 nm. It has a polarizer effect and can be used as a coating for optical devices such as lenses, mirrors, and windows. 7-Benzamido-4-hydroxynaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid is also used in the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastics. This compound has an absorption peak at 578 nm and emits light at 610 nm when excited by ultraviolet radiation.
