7H-Benzo[c]carbazole is a structural isomer of carbazole. It has been shown to be an efficient fluorescent probe for the detection of amyloid plaques in the brain and other tissues. 7H-Benzo[c]carbazole can be functionalized with a number of different groups, including nitrogen atoms and naphthalene, to create lipid nanoparticles that are used as carriers for drugs, chemicals, and other substances.
