Product Information

Name:
7-(trifluoromethyl)quinolin-5-amine
Synonyms:
  • Quinoline, 5-amino-7-(trifluoromethyl)-
  • 5-Quinolinamine, 7-(trifluoromethyl)-
  • 7-(Trifluoromethyl)-5-quinolinamine
Description:

7-(Trifluoromethyl)quinolin-5-amine is a quinoline derivative that inhibits the activity of tyrosine kinases, including c-MET. It has been shown to inhibit the activation of c-MET in tumour cells and therefore may be useful for cancer treatment. The modifications to 7-(trifluoromethyl)quinolin-5-amine have not been extensively studied, but it contains a n-linked framework that does not appear to be susceptible to modification by other molecules. This compound is multisubstituted with trifluoromethyl groups on the phenyl group and side chain of the quinoline ring.
