Ethyl 6-aminohexanoate is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have anticancer activity. It was first synthesized in 1887, but its anticancer properties were not discovered until recently. Ethyl 6-aminohexanoate can be metabolized by the liver and taken up by cells through a number of mechanisms. It also contains an acidic chemical composition and may have a role in the cycle analysis reaction mechanism as well as being involved in the synthesis of amino acids.
