Product Information
Dimesitylfluoroborane is a hydrocarbon molecule that has been synthesised by electrochemical methods. It is an imidazole with two nitrogen atoms and a high melting point. Crystal x-ray diffraction studies have shown that the molecules form crystals of a cubic lattice with a space group of Fd3m. The molecules have been shown to have a light emission property, which may be due to the acid catalyst that was used in the synthesis process. Dimesitylfluoroborane emits light when it is in contact with an acceptor such as an aromatic hydrocarbon or light resistance material. Dimesitylfluoroborane also has fluorescence properties, which can be used for fluorescent probes for various analytical purposes.
