Description:

Pyrroloquinazoline is a cholinergic drug that acts by blocking the action of acetylcholine on the postsynaptic membrane. It has been shown to be effective in relieving symptoms of metabolic disorders such as chronic exposure, congestive heart failure, and psychosis. Pyrroloquinazoline also has pharmacological properties including inhibiting the production of cancer cells and intracellular Ca2+ levels. This drug is metabolized by hydrolysis to its active form, pyrroloquinazoline acetic acid (PQAA), by liver microsomes.
