Description:
Zinc tartrate is a diphenyl ether that is used as a cross-linking agent. It can be used in the production of proton, nitrogen and metal-based hydroxides, which are widely used in biological and polymer applications. Zinc tartrate has been shown to have antimicrobial properties, with activity against gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus. This compound also has been shown to have detergent compositions in polymer films or particles.
