Product Information
Diphenylamine sulfate is an organic solvent that is used as a cross-linking agent in the production of polymers. It is also used as a polymerization inhibitor and matrix polymer, which can be dissolved in organic solvents such as chloroform or acetone. When sodium nitrate and copper oxide are added to the solution, it will produce a polymer with high radiation resistance. The monocarboxylic acid diazonium salt is then added to the solution to produce polymers with low thermal stability. Diphenylamine sulfate can also be used as an additive for ammonium nitrate explosives and thermally decomposing fatty acids. This chemical has been shown to inhibit fatty acid synthesis by inhibiting hydroxyl group attachment to fatty acid chains on glycerol.
