Description:

N,N-Dibutylaniline is a fluorescent probe that has been shown to be effective for the detection of palladium complexes in nonpolar solvents. It is more sensitive than other fluorescence probes and can be used as a measure of the chemical structure of the molecule. N,N-Dibutylaniline has been used to study transfer reactions, kinetic data, and radiation. This compound binds to nitrogen atoms, which results in an increase in fluorescence intensity. The fluorescence measurement also provides information about reaction mechanisms. N,N-Dibutylaniline can be used as a dye for polyenes and polycarboxylic acids.
