Tetraphenylmethane (TPMA) is a molecule that contains four phenyl groups in a tetrahedral arrangement. It has an ft-ir spectrum, which can be used to identify and characterize the chemical structure of TPMA. The flow system is used to measure the transport properties of TPMA. Hydrogen bonding interactions are present in the molecule, which can be seen through the carbonyl group and aldehyde groups. The molecular weight of TPMA is 224 g/mol and it has a boiling point of 53 °C. Tetraphenylmethane reacts with sodium hydroxide to form sodium tetrachloroplatinate(II). This reaction is catalyzed by an acid such as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid. Structural analysis of Tetraphenylmethane was conducted using FTIR spectroscopy, gas chromatography, and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy
