Description:

N-Allylmorpholine is an amine that is used as a cross-linking agent in analytical chemistry. It reacts with amines and hydroxyl groups to form stable intermolecular bonds, which can be detected by FT-IR spectroscopy. N-Allylmorpholine can also react with chloride ions to form stable salts, which are often used as dietary supplements. In addition, N-Allylmorpholine is used as a pro-inflammatory cytokine in cancer therapy. The reactive functional group of this molecule has been shown to bind to toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), which leads to the activation of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNFα and IL1β.
