BMF inhibits tumor growth and has antitumor activity in vivo by inhibiting the proliferation of tumor cells. It also enhances the antitumor activity of temozolomide by inhibiting parp-1, which is an enzyme that regulates cell death. BMF may be used to treat cancer by inhibiting tumor growth and inducing apoptosis.
