Description:
9-Chloro-1-nonene is a byproduct of the chlorination of hexane. It is used in the synthesis of palladium complexes, halides, and transfer reactions. 9-Chloro-1-nonene can be produced from chlorides, yields, and tetrahydrofuran in the presence of sodium formate. The chloride and phosphine react with 9-chloro-1-nonene to produce catalytic reduction. It is also used as a solvent for diethyl ether and solvents.
