- 4-Phenyl-1,2-Thiazole
- 1-Allyloxy-2-Methyl-Benzene
Allyl o-tolyl ether (AOTE) is an organic compound that belongs to the group of benzene derivatives. It is a colorless liquid that can be obtained from benzene by reaction with allyl bromide and sodium hydroxide in refluxing ethanol. AOTE has been shown to have high yields when synthesized using a catalytic, hydrothermal, or subcritical process, and it was also found that the reaction time can be reduced by using anhydrous conditions. The product yield is improved when this product is synthesized in the presence of a copper catalyst.
