Description:
9-Fluorenyl acetate is a divalent hydrocarbon and an inhibitor compound. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory compounds, such as histamine and prostaglandin. 9-Fluorenyl acetate has also been found to be a potent inhibitor of the transfer reactions that are catalyzed by the enzyme lipoxygenase.
