Description:
Phenylphosphonic acid disodium salt hydrate is a reactive, polylactic acid that is used as an absorber for water vapor and metal hydroxides in industrial applications. It has been shown to be a competitive inhibitor of creatine kinase and other enzymes with similar function. This reactive substance can also be used to produce functionalized fatty acids. The phenyl group on the molecule contains a hydroxyl group, which is capable of reacting with other functional groups. Phenylphosphonic Acid Disodium Salt Hydrate has been shown to hydrolyze the fatty acids and create new ones with different functional groups, such as esters and amides.
