Product Information
N-(Pyrimidin-4-ylmethylidene)hydroxylamine is a pyrimidine derivative that is readily prepared by the cycloaddition reaction of benzene and an aldoxime. This compound has been shown to undergo a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition with triazine. The resulting isoxazole can be hydrolyzed to form pyridazine and oxazine. N-(Pyrimidin-4-ylmethylidene)hydroxylamine has been used in bioassays to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
