Cedrin is a fatty acid that is found in the mitochondria of cells. It has been shown to protect against oxidative stress and reduce the mitochondrial membrane potential. Cedrin also binds to chemokine receptors, which are involved in inflammation. It has been shown to be effective in reducing the severity of inflammatory diseases such as Crohn's disease and asthma.
