Product Information
- 7-Diethylaminocoumarin-3-carboxylic acid, hydrazide (DCCH)
- 7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carbohydrazide
7-(Diethylamino)coumarin-3-carbohydrazide is an analog of 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin that can be used as a fluorescence probe for copper. It does not react with other metals and is stable in acidic and alkaline conditions. This compound has been used to detect the presence of copper in biological systems, such as in the human stomach. The optimum concentration of this compound is 2 mM, which leads to a viscosity increase of about 10%. The terminal half-life of this compound is approximately 20 minutes and its maximum resistance to reaction products is high. The detection time for this compound is 5 hours.
