Product Information
Dysprosium nitrate is an organic solvent that is used in surface methodology to detect metal ions. It has been shown to be photocatalytic and able to produce light by absorbing UV light. Dysprosium nitrate also undergoes thermal expansion and structural analysis, emitting a light signal as it decomposes. It has been used to extract radioactive substances from human urine samples and can bind with proteins in the urine, which may lead to a false positive result. Dysprosium nitrate can also be used in fibroblast cells as a light source for experiments involving cell movement.
