Product Information
1,4-Di-t-butyl-2,5-bis(2-methoxyethoxy)benzene (TBEB) is a molecule that has an affinity for electron transfer. It has been used in experimental research to study electron transfer reactions and its redox potential. TBEB has been shown to have a symmetric form due to the presence of two methyl groups at the 1 and 4 positions on the benzene ring. The electronic properties of this molecule as well as its densities are also affected by cyclic voltammetry and cyclic voltages. TBEB is not efficient in yielding energy because it does not have any double bonds or triple bonds.
